MIXED NIGHT FOR CAGE RAGERS

Southwark's cage fighters have continued their unsuccessful run in the Cage Rage series recording two losses and a win in east London on Saturday night.

The night started well when Marvin Arnold worked his way to securing a verbal submission over opponent Kes Kpokpogri after 1.10 of round three. Arnold fought the majority of the contest on his feet and gained the submission after good consistent work.

Next into the cage was Jake 'Brutal' Bostwick, who was on his feet at the beginning and started well. However, once the contest went to the ground, Bostwick was locked in a heel hook by his opponent Jack Mason and submitted after 2.27 of the first round.

Headlining the night was Jason 'Bad Ass' Barrett, who came out on the wrong side of a violent contest with Joe Mac, the refereeing calling an end to the contest due to 'ground and pound' after 3.38 of round one.
