THE COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED
THE SURREY Brown Caps are preparing to take on the Kent Spitfires in the Brit Oval's only floodlit game of the 2008 season on Tuesday September 2 - and the Southwark News is giving away two pairs of tickets.
With stars such as Mark Ramprakash, Usman Afzaal, Saqlain Mushtaq and Pedro Collins raring to go, the Brown Caps are totally focused on securing promotion back to the NatWest Pro40 Division One for the competition's final season in 2009.
However, with the likes of Kolpak players Justin Kemp, Ryan McLaren, Martin van Jaarsveld and ex Surrey star Azhar Mahmood, the Kent Spitfires are seasoned one day specialists and will be no pushover for Alan Butcher's men.
After starting the season well, the Spitfires have fallen away in the past month, losing in the final of both the Twenty20 Cup and the Friends Provident Trophy and will be eager to bounce back by having a strong end to the season.
The game will also be the last at the Brit Oval under temporary floodlights - as a permanent set are being installed this winter ahead of next season's ICC World Twenty20.
To win a pair of tickets for this game, simply answer the following question:
Which current Surrey star wowed the nation with his moves on Strictly Come Dancing?
a. Mark Ramprakash
b. Pedro Collins
c. Saqlain Mushtaq
