LORDSHIP LANE'S Black Cherry has re-opened and is back at full speed after a face lift and a substantial rear extension.

The additional space and seating made by taking over the small and unused garden at the back of the building will be much welcomed, as the bar was often crowded at peak times.

What is created is a much more roomy, airy and inviting space for a quiet drink and a catch-up, as well as gatherings and small functions.

Its already impressive cocktail list has been freshened up with some modern classics being added to the old favourites. A brand new and interesting menu comes complete with must-try Dusk Deals at specific times of the week.

The buy-one-get-one-free on platters, combined with the buy two large glasses of wine and get the rest of the bottle for free, is particularly credit crunching friendly.
