What's your favourite thing about Southwark?
It's got some good parks, some nice green spaces.
What is your favourite place in Southwark?
Camberwell. It's where I work, and where I know best. It's got some good memories.
What would you like to change about the borough?
Specifically in Camberwell, it'd be quite nice to have a few more local shops. A few more local businesses who help other locals.
There have been two confirmed cases of swine flu in London. Are you worried?
No, I'm not worried. I think if I get it I'll be fine. I'm healthy, it's not going to kill me.
Only a third of university students expect to find a job they're qualified for when they leave. Is going to university worth the cost?
Yes. I think the life experience you get when going to university is a nice segway to all the proper grown-up stuff. In my experience it's nice to be able to go back home and get support from your parents in a way you might not be able to if you had a job.
Boris Johnson has been mayor of London for one year. Has he done a good job?
I've not noticed any huge differences. I quite like the idea of planting some more trees. I'm not too keen on cutting out the congestion charge in the west, it does seem to be benefiting the more wealthy side of London. I like the idea of expanding the tube line, but I don't know if that's specifically his thing. As a general rule I don't really like him, his politics or his general attitude to people, and I don't think he reflects, in himself, the majority of London.
