You are here: Camberwell \ Opinion \ BOSS SENT DATA!
15 May 2009
Alain Bristow's (TfL) letter on May 7 accuses me of publishing inaccurate data about the number of pedestrian crossings where time has been taken off the 'Green Man Phase' or where pedestrians have to wait longer between cycles.
I can assure him that the detailed tables of the first 150 lights reviewed that I was working from came from his boss, David Brown. If TfL cared to publish these lists of changes to traffic lights then the public could see for themselves what Mayor Johnson's 'Smooth the traffic' policy means to you if you are a pedestrian, rather than a Porsche driver.
