MORISON: 'I MIGHT NOT GET ANOTHER PREMIER LEAGUE OPPORTUNITY'

STRIKER STEVE Morison has begged Millwall to let him leave the club, saying that Norwich's interest in him could be his only chance to move to the Premier League.

The newly-promoted Canaries had an offer for the Welsh international turned down this week, prompting Morison to submit a written transfer request yesterday.

That request was rejected by Lions chiefs, but Morison remains determined to force a move to Carrow Road.

"I want to play in the Premier League," the 27-year-old told the BBC after Wales' 2-0 win over Northern Ireland last night.

"I might not get another opportunity.

"The Premier League is where everyone wants to play and I want to try to take it if they (Millwall) let me.

"I have put in a transfer request and we'll see what happens, it is out of my hands now," Morison continued.

"Norwich have made a couple of bids that have been turned down so I've done what I've done."
