THEATRE PECKHAM SUMMER FAIR

Theatre Peckham’s parents are holding a crafts, fun and pampering summer fair. The fair will take place inside and outside Theatre Peckham, Havil Street, SE5 7DS on Sunday 12^th June 2011 from 11am to 4.00pm.

This will be a fantastic day out for all the family with arts & craft and nearly-new stalls, games, bouncy castle, BBQ and home-made cakes, pampering corner including massages and manicures, and a raffle with fantastic prizes.

Theatre Peckham is a charity that offers affordable high quality arts education and training to children and young people residing in and around the borough of Southwark.  It also works with many local schools linking the projects to the curriculum.

Like all charities, the funds required to provide the services are from donations and funders but like all charities find the present economic climate highly challenging. 

It is for this reason the growth of Theatre Peckham Parents’ Group emerged to join forces and contribute to the fundraising.  This fair is one fundraising event with more planned for the near future.

Teresa Early, founder and director of Theatre Peckham said: “It’s fantastic to know that the Parents are so strongly behind us. Together we can beat the cuts and give the young people the good Arts Education they deserve.”

Theatre Peckham is in Havil Street, SE5 7DS, close to Southwark Town Hall.  Nearest bus routes include: 12, 36, 171, 343, 345 and 436.
