YOUTH EVENT TO TACKLE KNIFE CRIME AT TOWN HALL

17 June 2011

Two community groups will host a joint event this Saturday to encourage youths to discuss how knife crime can be tackled in Southwark.

The Southwark Police Community Consultative Group (SPCCG) and the From Boyhood to Manhood Foundation (FBMF) have joined forces to encourage young people, parents and the wider community to talk openly about knife crime.

The meeting also aims to highlight the positive work that is currently taking place in Southwark and groups carrying out such projects are also being asked to come along.

The event is open to the public and will be held at Southwark Town Hall, on Peckham Road, starting at 2pm and finishing at 5pm.
