ALLEGED DRUG DEALERS BAILED

A 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man accused of being drug dealers were granted bail.

Courtney Dempsey and Ashley Gordon were both charged with possession with intent to supply 18.59g of heroin and 2.03g of cocaine.

The charges followed a police raid on Dempsey’s address on the Aylesbury Estate in Walworth on November 3 last year.

The court declined jurisdiction over the case and committal proceedings to the crown court are scheduled to take place on March 29

Neither Dempsey nor Gordon, of Howbury Street in Bedford, gave any indication as to how they would plead and they were both granted unconditional bail.
