PRINCE CHARGED

A nineteen-year-old appeared in court to deny pushing his ex-girlfriend up against a wall and banging her head.

Prince Otu, formerly of Walworth, was also alleged to have taken an Oyster card and damaged a door frame and chain during the incident in her flat on March 13.

He was charged with assault by beating, theft, and criminal damage and entered not guilty pleas for each.

Otu, of Tulse Hill, will stand trail at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court on April 20.
He was granted bail with conditions of not contacting the alleged victim in the case.
