23 March 2012
A crack dealer who was caught with a stash of drugs the size of two golf balls and worth more than £1,000 admitted two charges.
Edward Akposheri, eighteen, had 30 wraps of heroin and 29 wraps of cocaine when he was stopped by police officers on December 8 last year.
He admitted he had the Class A drugs, or “food”, before he was searched outside Stephenson House in Bath Terrace. At the hearing last week at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court Akpolsheri pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply.
Chair of the magistrate panel, Ms Brooksbank, ordered that a presentence report be completed and the case was adjourned until then. “All options [are] open, including committal to the crown court [for sentencing]”, she said.
Akposheri, of Brinton Walk in Borough, was due to appear later that day.
