This Thursday, a small group of people clad in robes and gold chains will gather in a quiet corner of Southwark Cathedral.

They have come together to mark the anniversary of the death of a man unknown to many, but whose legacy has helped thousands of people all over Southwark, from the elderly to arts groups – and £20,000 donated this year for Jubilee street parties.
