PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO SEX TEEN ASSAULT

A Peckham man who pleaded not guilty to sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl was committed for trial at a crown court.

Rana Mehmood, 28, of Queens Road, is alleged to have said the teenager looked like a baby, which resulted in an argument.

The court heard that he allegedly grabbed her breasts over her t-shirt on April 11 in Wood Road, Peckham.
He will next appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court on July 19.
