A 32-year-old accused of assaulting a woman and breaking her mobile phone appeared in court to deny the charges.
Leonard Okocha will stand trial following the allegedly violent incident on June 7 near his flat in Kingsley Mews, off the Old Kent Road.
He faces charges of assault by beating and criminal damage to a £600 HTC mobile phone belonging to the complainant. Okocha, of Old Kent Road, was granted bail with the condition of not contacting the complainant, save for through solicitors, and will stand trial on August 24 at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court.
