20 July 2012
A Rotherhithe man accused of turning up at his girlfriend’s house with a six-inch knife was remanded in custody ahead of his trial.
Gary O’Conner, 46, denied the charge of possession of a bladed articled in a public place. The charge followed an alleged incident in Bethwin Road in Camberwell on July 7.
O’Conner, of Eugina Road, elected for a Crown court trial and was remanded in custody. He will next appear at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court on July 20, when his case will be committed to the higher court.
