I LOST MY LEG AFTER A FOOTBALL TACKLE - NOW I’M TRAINING TO BE IN PARALYMPIC TEAM GB

Paralympian Michael Ishiguzo, 31, was a top footballer in Nigeria before he lost his leg to gangrene after a bad tackle.

He now lives in Peckham, where he is training with the hope of representing Great Britain at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio, to say thank you to the country who gave him a second chance in life.
