The family of Bermondsey woman killed by a falling wooden window frame in Mayfair last week have described her as “a wonderful and special person”.

Amanda Telfer, 44, died at the scene despite efforts of paramedics after the half-tonne frame struck her in Hanover Street on Thursday.
