TEN MAN Millwall suffered their third successive defeat as Brighton won 2-1 at the Den.

Brighton opened the scoring when the impressive Will Buckley crossed for Ashley Barnes, who fired under David Forde.

Millwall fell further behind three minutes into the second half when Adam El-Abd fired in from close range after Millwall failed to clear a corner.

The Lions were dealt a further blow when half-time substitute Chris Taylor received his second yellow card for leaving a foot on Brighton goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

Chris Wood gave Millwall hope with a close-range strike on his full debut, but it wasn't enough to prevent another defeat.
