PRIMARY BAILED OUT OF £1.9M DEBT

A PECKHAM primary school that was left £1.9m in debt after entering into a computer equipment contract had to be bailed out by other Southwark schools, it has emerged.

Gloucester Primary School was one of 169 schools around the country that were plunged into financial crisis after signing up to deals that saw them pay up to ten times the going rate for laptops and photocopiers.
