HUNDREDS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL PLACES CREATED

Hundreds of extra primary school places were created across the borough to cope with the shortage this year.

The News has learnt that 300 places across ten forms of entry were added to the September intake and the council is planning on increasing the figure even further next year.
