East Dulwich Personal Trainer, Liz Stuart, has just launched a new fitness DVD for mums who want to lose any post pregnancy lumps and bumps.
Liz set up her Powerpramming programme in 2004 after she had her first baby. She said: "After Ezra was born, I wanted to get back in shape and when talking to other new mums, we were all in the same boat."
Powerpramming Inside Out has been designed so you can sweat it out from the safety of your own home. You can also employ the fat fighting tactics in her Powerpramming classes held throughout south London. Women power walk or jog whilst pushing their prams, then park them up and exercise in front of their babies.
Liz said: "I used to get loads of emails from women both in the UK and internationally asking how they could exercise with their babies, so putting the DVD together was a good way to bring exercise into their homes. A lot of people are worried about what they can do, and don't know when it's safe to start exercising.
“Having the DVD means they have something safe to follow as I am a qualified pre and post natal instructor. Mums can even involve their babies in the workout."
Liz says that women will lose weight and tone up with the workout if they do it two to three times a week and combine the program with sensible eating.
The DVD covers abdominal exercises and pelvic floor exercises for those that want to feel in shape inside and out! Liz says: 'You can sneeze with ease. Pelvic floor exercises are good for your confidence and sexual enjoyment.”
