FIRST POOL DAY SEES A FEW SHOCKS

On the first pool day of the season there were a few shocks, writes Dave Marks...

The Bramcote took the Boatman all the way, only losing 5-4. The Prince A team, despite winning 4-2 at end of the singles, only managed a 5-4 win to a surprisingly large twelve man squad.

The Aardvark B team (The Docklands), romped to a  9-0 win  against  their South African namesake.

The Welli News won a 9-0 walk over against the Adam & Eve.
