IF YOU'RE looking for a classy, easy-going, chilled place to drink and dine, then the White Hart is right up your street. The 'Hart' is upmarket, but very laidback and completely unpretentious at the same time, writes Vanessa Ochan...

THE DRINKS
The White Hart is notable for its wide collection of wine. It also serves a variety of other drinks, including one called Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum. After a long day at the office, you can sit back, relax and have an affordable drink (average spirit £2.95).

THE FOOD
The food menu reads more like that of a restaurant and is definitely not your average pub grub. While it still features classics such as beefburger & chips (£7.50), it also lists high market dishes such as Argentinean rib-eye steak (£12/£14), and other unique servings. There is a soup of the day and a special menu on weekends (English roast available every Sunday) Food served: Mon-Fri 12pm - 3.30pm - times varying on weekends

THE ROOM
The White Hart fuses classical traditional English decor - barrels, Victorian furniture and paintings - with trendy contemporary designs, with a modern bar and open kitchen. This gives it an up-to-date, unique, but yet very classic vibe, and should appeal to a more mature customer, as well as a young trendy crowd.
There's a room upstairs used for private parties, which can hold up to 90 guests.

THE FEEL
With relaxing music playing in the background and a warm, sophisticated atmosphere, it's the perfect location to enjoy a quiet lunch. Also a cool place to chill after work, or just have a drink and bite with some mates.
