THICK AND FRUITY

14 May 2008

French martini

The Borough Bar
, 10-18 London Bridge Street, SE1 9SG

£6.50 A RARITY for a cocktail, but one enjoyed by both sexes. A fruity and unique first date drink that's refreshing flavour will welcomingly linger. It appears far less guilty than it is; the alcohol content is so concentrated you can stand two straws up in it without touching the sides!

Ingredients:

A mélange of Stoli Vodka, Chambord (Raspberry Liquor) and pineapple juice; shaken and served.

How to make:

Fill a tall class with ice, add a shot of Stoli, a shot of Chambord, and generous helping of pineapple juice. Pour into a Boston shaker, give it a rattle then serve straight-up into a long-stem glass.
