Surrey batsman Michael Brown announced his retirement from cricket with immediate effect this week.
Brown played 96 first class matches and scored 5,273 runs at an average of 34.01, but has struggled with a number of injuries over the past eighteen months and as a result has decided to draw a close on his cricketing career.
