Two of Lynn Boxers who secured London titles at the weekend and will now set their sights on national glory, as the Walworth boxing club continues to go from strength to strength.

Lerrone Richards and Ryan Jackson both put in assured performances in securing their crowns, and the whole team picked up the club of the night award as it four performers on the evening secured more points in contests than any other club represented.

Trainer Samm Mullins was chuffed with the honours bestowed on his club, and individual fighters, as the hard work that has been put in by the entire team start to bring dividends.

Speaking about Richards, the Lynn trainer said: "The guy cruised to a win to be fair, he is a boxer but he is called upon he can really bang too. He is somebody who will look for an opening, and when it appears he will take it."
Jackson put in an equally competent effort to take his respective title, and both fighters now automatically qualify for the quarter final of the English version of the titles they have now won.

Michael Shannon and Chris Mbwakongo also fought at the weekend, and while Shannon put an unusually lacklustre display Mbwakongo lost a narrow contest that many at ringside thought could have gone his way.
