BIG TURNOUT FOR CONFERANCE ON HOW TO COMBAT THE RECESSION

23 April 2009

The recent B2B Conference held on March 31 at Glaziers Hall was one of the most successful events run and organised by the Chamber, with its partners of Better Bankside, Peckham Town Centre Management Group and Black Business Initiative.

Over 220 people turned up on the day to hear the Minister of the Olympics Tessa Jowell, Ruth Brothwell of Supply London, Brian Groom of the Financial Times and Rachel Elnough of Dragons’ Den fame speak on the recession and ways to combat it.

The day held a number of inspirational workshops and the overall feedback from many was that this should now be a fixed event every year in our business diaries.
