ONE STOP SHOP LETTINGS AGENCY ON A HIGH AFTER BUSINESS ADVICE

Peckham-based letting agent Eden Josh have had the phones ringing off the hook, after taking advantage of a government backed scheme, offering business advice to start up companies.

The business, based in Asylum Road, was launched three months ago by David Harper and Desray Van De Wetering - even though the recession was already in full swing. "We always been around the area and have experience in both property management and sales and marketing", David said. "Although it might seem a strange time to launch a property business, we were confident about what we were doing, had spent a long time preparing, and we're looking to be here for the long run.

And if we can survive now, we should definitely be able to survive in the future!"
Eden Josh offer lettings in and around Westminster, Greenwich and Southwark, including Dulwich Village, Camberwell and Peckham and some properties in the north of the borough.

"We offer our landlords a one stop shop, which means that we can cover all aspects of letting a property - not just the letting itself, but providing low cost utilities, landlord and tenant insurance and landlord rent guarantees, cleaning and repairs." With many people turning to letting, having been unable to sell their property in a struggling market, as well as the rash of buy-to-let customers during the property boom, Eden Josh have found a ready market.

The decision to bring in a business coach was made when they found out about a government scheme to help small business grow - with most of the costs covered. " With his advise and help, we have recently sent out a email to our landlord group of 1000 mentioning our services and our guarantees to our clients", David explained. "And we have had an amazing response.

Since the mail went out two days ago, we have had up to ten landlords contacting us requiring our services and quite a few more requesting details about us. We have also had our highest amount of hits on our website and have been busier than ever. It's going to be a long weekend for us this Saturday and Sunday - and long may it continue!"
