The second half demonstrates emerging aspects of the document, its distribution and its status in related media. This event brings together theoreticians and practitioners, directing its discussions to the philosophies of the photographic in contemporary practice. Speakers include: Howard Caygill (Goldsmiths College), Elizabeth Edwards (Photography and the Archive Research Centre at LCC), Carol Mavor, Gary Nickard (former director of CEPA Gallery), Amy Rosenblum-Martín (independent curator NYC), Ralph Rugoff (curator/ director of the Hayward Gallery) and Val Williams (PARC-LCC).
