Buildings come and go right across London and Southwark has been the case in point for many a decade. New facades are too often replacing older structures, for a variety of reasons, leaving the former buildings as a distant memory.

We are now in a digital age and disappearing modern estates such as the Heygate and Aylesbury are highly likely to be recorded in both print and film, largely due to eager students from the London College of Communications taking it up as their pet project.
