WE WOULD like to remind you that burglars look for open windows.

An open window is an open door to a burglar and an invitation to steal. 

• Please keep doors and windows shut if you are not in the room and think about what windows you leave open in hot weather. 
• Make sure your home is secure at night. 
• Shut and lock all windows when you are out, even if it appears to be out of reach and inaccessible. 
• Remember that some burglars can get through small spaces so, if in doubt shut and lock it.

If you see suspicious behaviour, or that a crime has just been committed and the suspect is nearby
