What do you like best about Southwark?
What I like about Southwark are the user friendly facilities such as the fact that it is well connected transport wise, and the people here are very friendly and welcoming.

Where is your favourite place?
My favourite place in Southwark is probably Elephant and Castle, as it is a good place to go if you find yourself in need of any essentials. It also a good central location.

What would you like changed about the borough?
What I would like to see changed about Southwark is some of the more run down areas.
I'd like to see them regenerated.

We are all aware of Jade Goody's terminal cancer diagnosis. Do you think it is appropriate to have her final days filmed?
Yes I do. The money she is earning from it will provide for her children's future, plus it is her right to have her wishes respected.

The finger of blame is being pointed at the banks for the current financial crisis. Is it fair then that the taxpayers are being made to bail them out?
I think so because if the taxpayers can't do it who can? We and the banks can learn from the mistakes that have caused this recession in the first place.

The BBC found itself in hot water again after Jeremy Clarkson's description of Gordon Brown as a "one eyed Scottish idiot" and Carol Thatcher's "golliwog" remark. In light of other recent events, do you feel that the anger towards the BBC is being blown out of proportion?
No I don't, because the BBC has a responsibility to uphold a basic moral standard in its conduct. Plus young people look up to public figures such as TV presenters: they are supposed to be role models.
Therefore they can be said to hold a duty of care towards young people.
