The Black Cherry has managed to grow and evolve with the popularity of Lordship Lane. Among the first to get the postcode licking its lips with an impressive cocktail list, the trendy gaffe now boasts a new menu and chill-out space out the back.

THE DRINKS
On top of an expansive cocktail list that forces the drinker to change their mind as they turn every page there are some beautiful and rare wines, beers and spirits on offer. Fresh on the menu are the shared cocktail bowls, but be warned…

THE FOOD
The chef has scribbled together a new menu that seems to have caught the eye of both the afternoon crowd and commuters. The buy one get one free on finger platters and the Dusk Deals - which consist of a drink and a dish for low prices - are among the latest incentives. Sunday lunches are also proving a hit.

THE ROOM
The funky decor mixed with the extravagant lighting is in-keep with the trendy 'vibe' that oozes from the bar. The high chairs and tables at the entrance provides a good view of the passing traffic. The Mezzanine level hosts the busy bar area and the front room boasts a more leisurely and comfortable array of seating areas.

THE FEEL
The warm interior and soulful music gives off an inviting feel. The relaxed atmosphere rubs off on the customers.
