1 November 2007
Italian food connoisseurs can be treated to a taste tour around the country at Walworth Road favourite La Luna.
The restaurant, at number 380, is reinventing its menu each week to dish up specialities and wine from each of the country's regions, from Sicilian to Neopolitan.
Owner Nino Esposito, who is keeping La Luna's normal a la carte menu as well as introducing the weekly specials, explained: "We are doing this because we like to serve good food from different parts of Italy. A lot of restaurants will stick to one menu, but in Italy every region has regional dishes. We are working on the old traditional recipes. Some have been going since the seventeenth century. We are rediscovering Italy."
