A successful little surprise, this unassuming art house film combines food and sex in a romantic romp in the best tradition of past hits. 

Sharing the same name as my youngest offspring, the plot of this film revolves around the protagonist Eden (Charlotte Roche apparently a renowned pop-icon and TV presenter in Germany) and a fat and grumpy chef Gregor (Devid Striesow).

Eden, a married woman with a young, down-syndrome child falls under the spell of the "Cucina Erotica" of eccentric master chef Gregor.  Their platonic gourmet meetings in Gregor's kitchen jolt both parties out of their monotonous everyday lives and as a result Eden's marriage blossoms and she happily becomes pregnant again whilst Gregor's cooking is better then ever, filling up his restaurant months in advance.  But their strong friendship is judged to be something more by the local townsfolk and when Eden's husband Xaver experiences the 'erotic cuisine' for himself, he is forced to take action or possibly lose his wife.

A fascinating, funny, poignant comedy this award winning film is a touching tale about love and erotic cuisine.
