Before I chat about racing I would like to say a few words of praise about the place where I, The famous Shadow first saw the light of day. I refer to south east London generally and Sothwark in particular. That is Southwark as in London Borough of and home territory of the Southwark News.  You all know where I mean.

With the improvement of my health I have been visiting my kids more. You may recall that my older boy Percy lives in East Dulwich and the younger one recently moved from Grange Road to a very nice house a cough and a spit from the Elephant.
