The venue is a short walk away from the bustling Camberwell Green, the bar is the laid back and slightly arty Sun and Doves, writes Elliot Steen…

The drinks
The strong wine list boasts a good selection of reds and whites with most popular grape varieties covered.  A seasonal changing cocktail list offers variety all year round.  Beers, cider and ales are on tap and they sell café-style coffee too. 

The food
A decent sized menu and good specials board offer classic English pub food for an affordable price.  Food for all occasions is covered with snacks, sandwiches and deserts as well as mains and starters.  The highlight is the Slow Roast Pork Belly for £9.

The room
With comfortable lounges for film viewings to spacious booths for dining, most needs or wants are seen to.  Take advantage of sunny days in the large garden area outside.  The furniture is slightly modern and the walls have strange and interesting decorations.

The feel
It is a laid back and relaxing venue with a friendly local vibe.  It attracts all ages and all walks of life making it a good place to have a quiet drink or meal with friends or family.
