WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT SOUTHWARK?
The borough has a lot of history. I like the old buildings and conversions -using old mills and artists' studios and turning them into apartments gives the borough a special feel.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE BOROUGH?
Borough Market is a great place to start the day. I sometimes go there to buy fresh food before work or I get breakfast from the market at the weekend before heading to the Tate Modern as it's a nice walk from there.
There's also a very old pub I love; it's called The Glad on Lant Street - it might even be Victorian. It's got that comfy and cosy feel, like walking into someone's living room.
WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE ABOUT THE BOROUGH?
I'm sure everyone says that but it just goes to show how much it's lacking: make the borough greener.

ABORTION CLINICS TO ADVERTISE ON TELEVISION. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
I'm not sure I agree with this. It's quite a sensitive issue. People who have had an abortion might not want to be reminded of it constantly through advertising. I'm pro-choice but if you are going to have an abortion you don't need television advertising to tell you how and where to get one.

BRITISH TEENAGERS ARE THE THIRD WORST BINGE-DRINKERS IN EUROPE.
SHOULD ALCOHOL PRICES GO UP?

I don't think raising alcohol prices would change anything, teenagers don't normally pay for alcohol or actually purchase it themselves. Teenagers who want alcohol will find it, there's always ways: parents' cupboards and older brothers and sisters to buy it for them. The only way to improve the situation is to educate, perhaps with visiting road shows, like they do for sex ed, to get kids involved.
