17 April 2009
A 31-year-old Walworth woman was bailed to return to court to enter her plea, having denied an assault charge at a Peckham school in February.
Hayley Cork, of Stopford Road, originally entered a 'not guilty' plea at Tower Bridge Magistrates’ Court, but District Judge Stewart Black ordered a non-effective date to return on April 30 once the defence had an opportunity to see the CCTV.
DJ Black said: "The crown must submit the footage; it could reveal an assault taking place and may impact on the defendant's plea." Cork was given unconditional bail to return.
