ALONG WITH the sunshine, summer usually means scouring the stores for a whole new wardrobe and wishing that you had more money to do so.  But if you make a trip down to The Elephant, you'll be pleasantly surprised by a huge selection of women's and men's clothing, at prices that will keep your pocket happy too.

One of the most unique boutiques in the shopping centre, Sensational has styles from all across Europe which means you're not likely to find them anywhere else.  Managed by John and Valerie, they cater for a real spread of people, whether you're looking to dress up or keep smart, with a large selection of sizes and styles.

With labels from France, Italy, Scandinavia and Germany, the majority of clothes they offer are one-offs which means you'll be almost guaranteed to avoid that awful moment when you realise someone else is wearing the same outfit.

This diagonal striped pink and cream skirt is light and feminine and is perfect dressed up with some gorgeous heels.  The white strappy vest top is so versatile it can be worn with practically anything.  Matching bag is also available.

Peacocks - Ground Floor

Peacocks is well known for its fashionable clothing at more than reasonable prices and you can find anything from kids' clothes to maternity wear or beachwear to lingerie.  But if you're looking for that one outfit to last the summer nights and leave you enough money to actually enjoy yourself, this store is ideal.

White jeans are one of the summer's must haves and you can choose to dress them up with a sparkly top or wear it casual with a loose fitting vest.  This metallic gold stripy top is pretty, right on trend and goes well with these slim-fit jeans.

In general the styles can be defined as smart casual, but  there's a lot of variety, from smart pinstripe trousers to more outrageous spangly leopard-print designs. 

There are loads of t-shirts to choose from. This yellow slogan t-shirt is stylish and is perfect worn with casual jeans. Go for these leather sandals to keep your feet cool and comfy.

Dee-signer sells well-known labels like Diesel, Von Dutch and Miss Sixty at discounted prices and Owner Dee is always bringing in new ranges, so it's likely you'll want to come back again and again to see what's on offer.

There's plenty of surfer tops, slogan t-shirts and trendy skirts in this store and even a unique range of shoes and t-shirts designed by Dee's friend Dannis.
This maxi green dress is great for turning heads in the sunshine.  With it's bold colour and sleek outline you'll feel comfortable and stylish whatever you're doing.  Team it with a pair of black or pink Havaianas flip-flops.
