IN THE second part of our two-part interview with Millwall Chairman John Berylson, the Lions supremo discusses the trials and tribulations of last season, reveals his thoughts on manager Kenny Jackett and explains how the regeneration around the Den will benefit Millwall.
I had a number of low points last season. Thinking we would beat Brighton away but only draw was a low point. I was disgusted to see David Forde battered against West Ham and then see us lose 1-0. But the stretch where we didn’t score for eight or nine games was tough because I didn’t know how we were going to pull out of it. It looked to me like we were just circling down the drain.
