SOUTHWARK'S MOST WANTED

27 August 2010

Clint Dixon                              Craig Mulheron                      Ben Pell

Many of Southwark’s wanted suspects have committed serious offences including robbery, burglary and
violent assaults. Police believe some are still living or commiting crime in the borough, even in your own neighbourhood.

They are on the run for different reasons.  They may have failed to answer police bail, failed to attend a court appearance or they may have been released early from prison and since broken conditions of that release.

Southwark’s wanted offender management unit is a dedicated team of officers who concentrate on tracking down those circulated as wanted. In order to help trace the wanted suspects, police in Southwark have set up ‘Southwark’s Most Wanted’ website in the hope that Southwark’s community will assist with information about their whereabouts. The website features photos of those people who are wanted for offences in the borough but have so far evaded being brought to justice.

If you recognise any of the faces on the website, you can help police in Southwark protect your community by providing confidential information about where they might be staying or who they are keeping in contact with.
As well as named suspects you will also be able to view CCTV images of suspects the police have yet to identify.

Detective Superintendent Ian Smith said, "Police in Southwark are committed to catching these suspects and ensuring they are properly dealt with by the criminal justice system. The website is a tool that members of the public can use to help us make Southwark safer - many of these people are still in the local area and may well be committing further offences. We need to know where they are and for that we need the help of the community."

If you can identify these suspects contact the Wanted Offender Management unit on 020 7232 7507
or you can speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
