MILLIONS OF pounds is being lost to Southwark Council each year due to thousands of people fiddling their council tax - and getting away with it, Lib Dems claim.

At least 4,000 people were found to be falsely claiming a discount for living alone in February this year, according to an anti-fraud report by council officers.
