'SUPERTRAM COULD CROSS BOROUGH IN 20 MINUTES'

A “SUPERTRAM” that crosses the borough in 20 minutes could be a reality within two years – if it can win political backing.

That’s the claim from local Lib Dem politician James Barber, who has unveiled plans for a £55m “Southwark Supertram”, funded entirely by private investment.
