Police are searching for a gunman after a shooting in Bermondsey in the early hours of Friday morning.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occured under the bridge in Rail Sidings Road at around 3.45am. The victim managed to make it to a south London hospital, where the police were called. He was treated for gunshot wounds, which were not life-threatening.
Detectives from the Met’s Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating. Enquiries continue. Anyone with information about the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
