A new workspace for start-ups and small-to-medium sized businesses is set to open at the Biscuit Factory in Bermondsey.
Residents and workers are being invited to attend a drop-in session on September 2, where they will be able to view proposals for the “flexible office space” at the site of the old Peek Frean factory.
The proposed building will be located off Drummond Road and will replace the empty warehouses at the current site.
After consultation, planning permission will be submitted to Southwark Council. If approved, building work is expected to begin early next year and finish in 2017.
Plans can be viewed on Wednesday September 2, between 1pm and 8pm, in the ground floor of Unit G at the Biscuit Factory.
