Despite monsoon-style weather conditions, residents of the Dickens Estate in Bermondsey gathered for a “wonderful” community fun day last Sunday.
The fun and games included a face painter, entertainer and tennis coach for the kids, while a 1970s-themed disco occupied the grown-ups.
Matthew Algood, of United St Saviour’s Charity, said: “We funded the event and we’re really glad we did, it’s great to see everyone together and having fun.”
