DENIES ASSAULT

A 22-year-old accused of pushing a woman up against a wall and injuring her finger was bailed until his trial.

Elephant and Castle man Dean Collins denies the charge of assault by beating following the alleged incident on May 6. His trial will be held at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court on July 2.

Collins, of Newington Butts, was granted bail with the condition of not contacting the complainant.
