A man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a stabbing in Peckham.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Clifton Way, SE15, at about 2.10pm today, Wednesday.
A London Air Ambulance team attended and the man was taken to hospital.
“Officers attended and a man, aged in his early 20s, was found suffering stab wounds,” a Met Police spokesperson told the News.
“He was taken to hospital. His injuries are being treated as life threatening at this time.”
A spokesperson for London Air Ambulance said: “Our advanced trauma team was dispatched via aircraft by the London Ambulance Service at 2.16pm today (Wednesday) to reports of a stabbing in the Peckham area.
“Following treatment, the patient was transported to a major trauma hospital by road accompanied by London’s Air Ambulance medical team.”
No arrests have been made and police inquiries continue.
