A Millwall fan who was arrested in front of his child for taking a match football out of the Den, was released after accepting a caution for theft.
The 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft following the Millwall vs Sheffield United match on the weekend.
News of the arrest was published on the MPS Lewisham twitter account and was roundly criticised by fellow fans.

One fan who tweeted the account, ended up being blocked by the coppers.
